Cork – 5th February 2019: Wisetek, a global leader in advanced IT asset disposal, data destruction, technology reuse and manufacturing services, was this weekend announced as the winner in the Large Company of the Year category at the annual Cork Chamber of Commerce dinner.
The company was one of three shortlisted in the award category with Amarenco and Johnson & Perrott.
Last week, Wisetek announced its opening in the UK market with a facility in Reading, where it will initially hire over 10 new employees and numbers are expected to grow beyond that. The Cork based company has previously expanded into the United States where it is located in Austin, Texas and Sacramento, California; the Middle East; and has a facility in Thailand, a platform to expand into further South-East Asian markets.
